क्या हमें Corona के साथ जीना होगा?
Corona महामारी से देश दुनियां के जो हालात अभी चल रहे हैं उसे देखकर ऐसा नहीं लग रहा की जल्दी ही हम इस दौर से निकलने वाले है। जब तक इसके लिए को कोई पुख्ता इलाज नहीं मिल जाता तब तक हमें Corona के साथ जीना सीखना होगा। WHO महासचिव टेड्रोस अधानोम घेब्रेयेसस के मुताबिक, "इतना तय है कि हमें अभी लंबा रास्ता तय करना है। वायरस हमारे साथ लंबे वक्त तक रहने वाला है"। क्योंकि इतने लंबे समय तक कोई भी देश अपनी अर्थव्यवस्था को रोक कर नहीं रख सकता। कोई भी सरकार जनता को इतने लंबे समय तक ना तो घर में रख सकती है और ना उनके लिए खाना पीने का बंदोबस्त कर सकती है।
भारत जैसे देश में तो Social Distancing भी मुमकिन नहीं हो सकती। क्योंकि यहां पर पहले ही मूलभूत आवश्यकताओं को पूरा नहीं कर पा रहे हैं। ऐसे में Social Distancing से ही Corona को रोकना बड़ा ही असंभव काम होगा। यहां पर आधी से ज्यादा जनसंख्या को प्राथमिक स्वास्थ्य सुविधाएं ही उपलब्ध नहीं है । देश की लगभग 30% आबादी गरीबी रेखा से नीचे का जीवन जी रही है। और आधी आबादी एक कमरे के मकान में 5-6 सदस्यों के साथ रह रही है। ऐसे में Corona जैसी महामारी को केवल पुख्ता इलाज से ही रोका का सकता है।
संक्रमित लोगों की पहचान करना भी भारत जैसे विशाल देश में बड़ा ही टेड़ा काम है। अभी तक जो देखने में आया है कि संक्रमित लोग अपने आप को सामने लाने की बजाय छिपते फिर रहे है। जिन लोगो को क्वारंटाइन किया गया है या जिनका इलाज चल रहा है वो लोग हॉस्पिटल से भागने का प्रयास कर रहे है। इस तरह से हम कोरोना की चैन को नहीं तोड़ पाएंगे। हमें बचाने वाले हॉस्पिटल स्टाफ और पुलिस स्टाफ पर हमले हो रहे है, ऐसा करके हम निहायत ही नीचता का प्रमाण दे रहे है। फिर हम सरकार को दोसी ठहराते है कि वो हमारे लिए कुछ नहीं कर रही है।
क्या इस महामारी को रोकने का काम केवल सरकार है, हमारा कोई कर्तव्य नहीं है ? और अभी तक ये बात पूरी जनता को समझ आनी चाहिए कि अकेले सरकार के प्रयास करने से कोरोना नहीं रुकने वाला। अब ये हमे सोचना है कि हम कोरोना के साथ जीयेगें या कोरोना को मारकर जीयेंगे।
Seeing the situation that is going on in the country due to the Corona pandemic, it does not seem that we are going to get out of this phase soon. We have to learn to live with Corona until we get a strong cure for it. According to WHO Secretary-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, "We are so sure that we still have a long way to go. The virus is going to stay with us for a long time". Because no country can hold its economy for so long. No government can neither keep the people in the house for such a long time, nor can it arrange for them to drink food.
In a country like India, even social distancing cannot be possible. Because here already are not able to meet the basic requirements. In such a situation, stopping Corona from Social Distancing would be an impossible task. More than half of the population does not have primary health facilities here. About 30% of the country's population is living below the poverty line. And half the population is living in a one-room house with 5-6 members. In such a situation, an epidemic like Corona can be prevented only by strong treatment.
Identifying infected people is also a huge task in a large country like India. So far, it has been seen that the infected people have been hiding instead of exposing themselves. People who have been quarantined or are being treated are trying to escape from the hospital. This way we will not break the corona chain. Hospital staff and police staff that protect us are under attack, by doing so we are giving evidence of lowliness. Then we blame the government that it is not doing anything for us.
Is it only the government to stop this epidemic, we have no duty? And yet the whole public should understand that the efforts of the government alone will not stop Corona. Now we have to think whether we will live with the corona or live by killing the corona.
